Slightly Jaded after being Shaded..

Good evening people…

We are home and resting after a tail end of the week that proved draining, excuse my blog absence please as I spent all night making items to sell at MADE in the SHADE today.

A BIG HELLO to everyone who turned up to see us, it always makes our day.

It was a great success with lots of happy customers raking through the pile of keychains and buttons, lots of lovely feedback and a couple of interesting possibilities including rubber stamps?  Anyway we had fun and are now deciding wether to attend the december fair.. We will keep you all posted…

Now down to some business,

Brush With Casualty

Due to public pressure I feel i must now reveal the final chapter……..

Calling NHS24 is a simple enough affair, getting advice can be trickier…….. we wait for a GP to call us back, Suzanne in constant pain from her mouth guest (The Bristle).  His call came 30 minutes later, and he told us to go… guess where….. yup A&E……..

So I packed some lunch, got the kids a sitter, readied myself for a 3 hour epic in the waiting room, so off we drove in the gorjuss mobile…. screeching round well going round corners really… cant get speed up enough to screech…..

We get into A&E, Suzy gives her details, we sit down..

5 minutes later she is called through, I sit stunned..

I was trippley stunned when she returned 10 minutes later…. bristle free…

SO rather than an A&E horror tale its a fairy tale…….. with a happy ending…..

Suzanne and her toothbrush are back on speaking terms after 3 days counsilling.

BLOG competition

I planned on running a competition tonight, but sadly I am out of time… so I shall try to prepare one for tomorrow or Monday.  Check back then, also a new tube pack release is imminet… Definately before 1st…

    Great news on A&E — I love a good fairy tale 🙂 …. unless I am bleeding all over their furniture I have had to sit for hours waiting … now I tell them I have chest pains and try to look weak and pitiful and they come running with a wheel chair and wisk me away. In the US people who are on Welfare, bring their kids in if they have the teeniest scratch – just to get free meds. It means that it slows down the care that people who are actually BLEEDING have to wait 🙁

    Glad to hear the Suzanne is bristle free now. What a freak accident that was. I was on pins and needles waiting to hear the ending…lol.

    So glad to hear about your success at Made in the Shade! Wish I lived a bit closer to hop on by. Idaho makes for a long drive. XD And I don’t believe my truck is equipped for water travel yet. 🙁

    Hi Guys, it was lovely to meet you both at Made in The Shade Yesterday, Suzannes work is truly Gorjuss and even more beautiful in the flesh so to speak lol. Both my new Gorjuss girls made it home safe and sound ( and dry ) and now have pride of place in the living room. Look forward to meeting you again sometime xx

    Couldn’t you have embelished a bit? Maybe added a encounter with a vampire or maybe a lycan? hehehe

    Rubber stamps?!! OMG, I would seriously go broke if that ever happened!! I love Suzanne’s work, but even PSP for Dummies has not helped me. The only way I can create is if I follow a tut that has ALL the steps written out. Sad, I know.. not like that prevents me from purchasing tubes though! LOL! I just wanted to say WOOHOO for even the possibility of rubber stamps! I will keep my fingers crossed 🙂

    Just peeked in to catch up , have been a bit sick but boy am I glad I came to check – I have been wondering what the outcome of this would be. LOL. Glad all turned out better and quickly ! I would have been stunned too to see any patient go in and right back out so quickly.
