Today we STRIKE

There will be no blog as long as wages for the blog workers are not increased in proportion to the percentage of shadow cast by the sun on the 3rd day of the month of the next blue moon… Working conditions have deteriorated over the last few minutes and this blog writer will not stand for it!!!

Ach who am I kidding… I’ll work for peanuts, on with the blog !!!

PROUD PARENTS

Tonight we attended the graduation event for Little Miss who is moving from Primary School to High School after the summer holidays (Starting Friday). This marks the end of her primary education and we are so proud of her and her accheivements, and we hope she takes these learned skills with her through the rest of her education. The event itself was presented by the class, they did readings of their work, poetry and some songs to entertain the parents, then their new head master gave them a certificate and their new school tie. The usual waffling of teachers was surprisingly absent making it a rather pleasant change to the norm. The emotional Head Mistress gave a surprisingly concise, humorous and heart felt thankyou to them and it didn’t last four hours thanking everyone and everything including the screws holding the building together… Anyway its all over now and Little Miss looks forward to 3 days of utter chaos and carry on until the school term officially ends on Friday…

WIMBLEDON

Well Suzanne spent a big chunk of today Cheering Nadal and Andy Murray on to victory in their respective matches on Centre Court at wimbledon. It was some fantastic displays of utter genious and stamina and clear determination in both games that kept Suzanne rivited… Tommorrow Federer returns to court and some other gems are sure to arise… sadly I have to go now, as there is no Tennis on TV and I have Top Spin the tennis game for the Wii and Im off to have a go… wish me luck !
