Back To Acrylics..

Hello everyone.. first of a HUGE happy fathers day to all you lovely Daddy’s out there ( and of course to my Mr G who enjoyed being spoiled rotton (i.e not moaned at *quite as much* by our little Gorjuss-es)

I’ve been missing my paints more and more lately.. I think it’s a good thing, it means I’m getting better enough to WANT to sit and paint.. I’ve not painted with acrylics much since I got ill ( last year!) .. but the back injury this year put them right out of the question.. well the good news is.. I couldnt wait any longer…

I’ve still got super shakey hands and can only work on small pieces due to the time i can sit .. so it’s er.. super frustrating 🙁
I started with this little wooden box ( I have a few more I will be working on soon, If you’d like a custom one, email me).. it’s such a good size – big enough to hold lots of gorjuss goodies ! It will have a few coats of varnish over it too – so it will be super glossy and up for sale soon.

And these little paintings are 6″ x 6″ ( painted around the edges, so no need to frame!) .. and look.. no outlines to them ( I’m not gonna spoil them with my shakey hands lol!) ..

So it’s over to Mr G tomorrow with these for a coat of varnish too ( I can’t breathe when the stuff is near!) .. and then they’ll be added to Etsy yay 🙂

    ooooohhhhh …. the little boxes !!!!! Wonderful and I’m glad you are wanting your acrylics …. I love to work with pen and pencil, but the paint is great 🙂
