Discounts Updates & Guest Giveaway: StephanieFizer
Hello everyone, have you recovered form the shock of yet another new gorjuss product, those cross stitch kits are amazing huh? The kits arent limited, but as with other gorjuss product launches, there is usually quote a bit of demand, so to make sure you CAN get one, before they sell out, get them pre-otrdered fast !
The SwoonGallery have some beautiful original Gorjuss ink drawings for sale, until the end of this month. Some have sold to lovely buyers and already made it to their homes (they’ve been kind enough to share shots of them !) .. BUT there are some beautiful pieces left, each piece has pink watercolour enhancing their cheeks and knees etc, they really are so pretty and you will treasure them !
We have Two Sweet Albums and a Trinket Box with original art on, still available for sale, we did have buyers for them, and we had Reserved them but the “buyers” let us down : This really hurts us as everyone elses thinks they HAVE sold and dont check back ! Anyway, now YOU can pick up a great bargain ( and investment as Im sure the value of these WILL increase!) .. we have DISCOUNTED these, )(go see their new prices)as they must find a new home soon ! If you really want a piece of gorjuss, then these are GREAT for first time collectors as they are so hands on and versatile, we WILL include the little wooden easels for the Albums if requested ! You can buy them in our Main Shop or our Etsy Shop, whichever you prefer ! (dont worry, we remove them from the other as soon as they sell!)
PICK UP GORJUSS GOODIES IN BOOTS !
Also if you missed it, check out the blog post earlier this week about Gorjuss products being sold in the UK in Boots stores Nationwide, including TWO lovely bags, a make-up bag and a tote bag, both are PVC and are unique, dont wait to purchase these, they might not still be there at Xmas !
Stephanie Fizer is a fulltime illustrator living and working in West Virginia, USA. In addition to running her Etsy shop, she also works on freelance illustration projects! Her work is created primarily in Photoshop and Illustrator although she also does loves to play with handmade textures and brushes. She very much enjoys visiting her acrylics or watercolors from time to time, especially when she’s looking for a fresh perspective! :idea2: As you will discover below, she loves using bright color palettes and playing around with patterns. When she’s not working in her studio, she says she is usually cooking, working on home improvement projects or spending time with her husband-to-be and her dog, Leia. Let’s find out more:
“I’ve known Stephanie for a long time, I think Etsy brought us together, the funny thing is, that the internet has brought me so many, sweet sweet friends who are also great Illustrators! Working at home, day after day can get very lonely, and I think finding other Illustrators who share a connection with yourself, is so important. I hope to Introduce you, to a LOT of my friends and fellow Illustrators work thru these wonderful Guest Giveaways!! Stephanie’s world is a cornucopia of colour, and I hope you enjoy her Interview and a peek into her bright World of kokeshi girls, owls and teacups ! “~ Suzanne
Hello Guest Giveaway lovely! Please tell us a little bit about you , who are you, where you’re from!??
My name is Stephanie Fizer and I run an Etsy shop of the same name. In addition to keeping up with my shop duties, I’m also always working on freelance illustration projects. I live and work in a little college town in West Virginia(US). I like stripey knee socks and pickles.
Tell us about what you make & your inspiration?
I illustrate cuteness. My Etsy shop is filled with prints of my illustrations as well as stickers, stationery and soon, jewelry. I’ve always drawn a lot of inspiration from nature and consider myself lucky that although we live in town, we are still surrounded by mountains, trees and a river. Other inspirations include vintage illustration, bright colors, Japanese culture and an enormous collection of new and old magazines that I love to browse through.
What is your favourite item to make/sell?
I love working on new illustrations, getting to explore along the way from the first rough sketch to the finished piece. Since I do most of my illustration on my computer now, I’m having a wonderful time working on new jewelry pieces that are being released next month. It’s great to be working with my hands and gives me a break from the computer screen.
Do you have any favourite Etsy items you’ve bought?
Well, I have a favorite thing that I made from items I bought on Etsy. I just got married a few weeks ago and made a bouquet of vintage brooches that were purchased from Etsy sellers among other places.
Do you have any other websites people can find you?
Of course. I have a blog And people can also find me on Twitter and on Facebook
Whats the best advice you’ve ever been given?
Something my mother always told me when I was growing up: Just Be Yourself. It’s great advice for life in general and also for business.

If I could have anything at all in a tea cup, I would have a miniature long hair Chihuahua puppy. A neighbor had one, just old enough to leave it's mom, and I thought she had a hamster. Of all of Stephanie's things in a teacup, I can see her Boo Crew in a spooky looking teacup with lots of spiders and webs and scary stuff.
I collect old teacups and teapots so Stephanie's teacup collection has really caught my eye. Does she license?
Hmmmm If I could have anything in my teacup it would prob. be a cute pink handbag with a fairy on the handbag and a tube of lip gloss sticking out of it somehow (lol) and a Iced vanilla coffee. I Love all of those things .. It would so be me
I really enjoy this item 🙂
