I’d represent ‘The Peoples Republic for all things sparkly’. I would sing ‘Set me free (Let me craft)’ and I’d wear my countrys traditional dress – dutch girl braids, Jazz pants and pom pom shoes :)…with glitter, of course!

I would represent Sweden, not that I’m the least bit Swedish or blonde but I’d like to be…hmmmmmm what would I sing? Perhaps a new rap version of I’m Too Sexy….LOL..all done in the native tongue of course..lol
Though I now live in the USA, I am Canadian and proud of it, so I will represent Canada! I am decked out in my Gorjuss red flannel longjohns complete with rear flap and horizontal white stripes. I wear big furry mukluks, a toque and carry a Canadian backbacon and egg sandwich in my hand. My song would be My Canuck Luck and the lyrics would go something like this:
I jumped into my car one morn, heading off to work
I thrust the key into the slot and turned it with a jerk.
No roar of power, no engine on I sighed and went back in
To find my jumper cables and begin again.
Oh my Canuck luck.
On the way my tires skid, I end up in the ditch
Again I sigh and clamber out, tie a rope to my trailer hitch.
I flag a driver to lend a hand and tow me from the snow
A half hour later I’m finally free so off to work I go.

I’m all wet from melting snow, I cannot feel my ears
I get to work and gaze about, confirming my worst fears.
The doors are locked, the windows dark and noone else is there
My 4-wheel drive the only car in a parking lot empty and bare.

My damp hair now frozen strands, my eyebrows white with frost
I sit and ponder what to do, feeling rather lost
Suddenly it occurs to me, what day is it today?
Why tis Sunday morning, not Monday yet and I should still be in the hay!

I hop into my car once more and slide on down the road
To my unmade bed and central heat, my cozy but humble abode.
My car parked in a snowbank, I quickly run inside
I swiftly don my longjohns and between flannel sheets I hide.

I dream of summer’s sunny days, bbq’s and the beach
Lounging neath the oak out back, a cold beer within my reach
Dozing peacefully in the sun attempting to get a tan
Til a cloud of mosquitoes seek their lunch and I’m the lucky man

I wake with a start when I smack my face, ouch that really smarted
I roll with a sigh and as I realize that winter has barely started.
Six more months of snow and ice, hoar frost and frozen block heaters
Spring will come and swiftly pass, then time for the killer skeeters.

I love the Fall, its Gorjuss colours and leaves crunching underfoot
Harvesting my veggie garden that has far too much output.
Only a couple of months to enjoy before the days become short and cold
I discover sheltering spiders and bugs who have managed to join my household.

True patriot love in all thy sons command.
My glowing heart helps keep me warm as I watch the sun try to rise
Through chilling air turned white with mist, ice crystals sparkle and fly.

Then i am ready to start pouring the water out.
Once that is done i then start to put in the milk and sugarrrrrr…… hold for pause
