Tuesday Flew By
Well good evening and I appologise for my tardiness class.
I shall get right to work, now open your jotters and textbooks to page 92, todays lesson is now ……….. underway.
DIGI PAINTING no 1:
Β Suzanne tonight finnished a digi painting… its called “The Apple Doesnt Fall Far From The Tree”, and if you click the title you will be able to have a little peek at it…
Β It will be listed as a print at the weekend, Suzanne is planning to update her shop with all the new items recently blogged about..
GOING POSTAL
I can honestly say that since the mad rush of December and January I have never had to work so hard at getting things packaged and posted as I did today. Even Suzanne in her supervisory role felt the strain..
The end result was this……………….
I of course treat your mail with the utmost professionalism…. *cough cough*, if you have made any orders over the weekend they may well be in this pile….
I am serious that your orders are taken care of. They are processed by me and then taken to the local post office and placed delicately into the sacks… This is how todays looked on their way to the post office…
See that looks much nicer…. All items were shipped and it took me all day to get this little pile of mail ready.. For all of those of you waiting for your orders… here they are. Depending on your postal service this may be as close as you’re getting… Well to be honest, in the last 3 years, only 3 parcels have ever not arrived.. a few late arrivals but we can genuinely say that the POST rarely lets Suzanne down..
PENDANTS
Please excuse the dodgey photograph here, for some reason I had difficulty getting these in focus. Maybe it was the late hour or maybe I’m getting old before my time. Anyway here we have Suzanne’s other pendant experimentations.. this time the image is printed onto plastic, and it available in a range of the following images “One Day at a time”, “Ruby”, “I love you little rabbit”, “Eun sidh” and “Because she is my rose”. These came out very nice and will be available from Suzannes Etsy store this weekend. They are light weight but the colours are stunning..
These will be very affordable to allow for all of gorjuss’s fans to get a hold of them, they also have the silver plated chains to keep the cost down. People would be encouraged to get their own chain of their choice for the pendants. We may even sell them on their own should demand dictate.
PEN PAINTING
Now you all remember Suzanne’s first painting since her back injury, made with paint pens and was needing that something special… well tonight Suzanne finnished the painting..
This is NOT FOR SALE, you will not be able to buy this, nor will any ammount of begging or bribery sway me from my intentions… this will be the GRAND PRIZE for this weeks “FRIDAY NIGHT GIVE AWAY”.
Now I’ve not decided on the task as yet, but it will require comments from you. So in order to be ready for this weeks “FRIDAY NIGHT GIVEAWAY” I would like you all to try to add comments to blog posts, just to make sure you can do it. If you need any advice on this, mail me at grant@gorjuss.co.uk, I will try to help.
Here are some tips…
1 . Click on the Blog Title, for example this entry is called “Tuesday Flew By”, so scroll up and click on the wording “Tuesday Flew By”.
2. Scroll right down to the bottom of the blog… frankly it should only be a little further down from here…. look… just down there… see it? It should have a list of all the comments made, then a little form titled “leave a comment”.
3. Fill in the form.
4. Click Submit Comment
5. Know that Suzanne will read your comment as it bings her email box.
All first time comments will require to be authenticated by Suzanne or myself, so if it doesnt appear straight away, dont worry. It will once we edit it to make it complementary.. erm I mean…. check it for Swearing etc..
So please spend the week familiarising yourselves with making comments in rediness for the “FRIDAY NIGHT GIVEAWAY”, i think i need a theme tune for that….
Thanks for reading class, you may now put your books away, and head home..
I expect you to do your homework and Lorna and Maddy, I’m watching you….

lol
Wow, she’s giving away that amazing painting? Are you sure you can’t be bribed? roflol… (digging around in pantry looking for chocolate for phase 1 of the bribing).
I look forward to seeing the challenge, that is as long as I’m not disqualified from winning before… The necklaces look beautiful and that stack of mail, well, it looks more orderly than the ones that go out from our house…
Have a beautiful day, well, evening… day for me still. π Still watching the mail by the way, my mail man is slow but then we’re in different countries so hey, can’t complain! lol.
The Competition will run from the Friday night, now as the prize is soooo big, I may run it right through to the following Friday to make sure everyone gets a chance to win it…
As I say I now need to work out how to deem a winner.. lol… and Lorna your Gollum is extra freaky, hoi!! put that pendant back you theiving Gollum….
*gives chase*
mr. grant? robyn stuck her tongue out at me!!
well good job there with the posting of packages as i got my package with my bookmark prize for being a “cheeky little grammar dictator”..ahem….i was even impressed by suzanne’s little info card in there…so cute!
did you notice i did my homework y’day? i made 2 suggestions for names for the doll.
btw- when leaving a comment in the blog u can simply read to the end of that day’s blog and then hit “comments” at the very bottom of that day’s post (in small print) ..just another way of doing it as i never tried yours nor knew about it till you enlightened me a few lines back.
i do enjoy the banter in the blog -providing it π and responding to it :)and am quite enjoying learning more about the daily goings on there….
waiting for your next outrageous comments….
ohhh technical question for you…do apostrophes mate while in captivity? π π
Alright, spoke too soon. The prize arrived and I am so thrilled with it! They are bigger than I originally thought they would be and definitely cool. They are very well made and I love the little bags they come inside of. Definitely something that I would recommend selling to the public (in my opinion that is). Awesome job and a huge thank you!!! I’ll email you more “ravings” if you want…
Nope those ravings are absolutely perfect…*hands $10 bill* *winks*
Thats great to hear guys, Im so happy they arrived.. and within 2 weeks…
Robyn if you pull rude faces and the wind changes you may get a cold tongue!!!
Listen you could save yourself on delievery money i could just hope of at glasgow central and you could hand me it simple LOL…*cough* well erm thinking on how long it took me to find my way and fight with transport to the glasgow craft fair you might be quicker posting it π
lol
erm that was *hop* not hope lol
awww Maddy …. you know I don’t understand the internet π I put my hearts with “alt+3” and they turn up here as ? marks. I would never stick my tongue out at you π I might whack you with a pillow though …*skips away*
by the way Suzanne and Grant – it so cool to see how our orders are done π I love my prints and still want the other I talked to Suzanne about, it makes it so much more personal – Robyn (hearts)
