Saving Grace

As Grace wandered cautiously through the village she noticed that everything was quiet, there were no people chattering, no creatures stirring, no birds in the sky nor rats in the gutters.  Grace couldnt remember a time, not even a moment when she wasnt being stared at, or pointed at, not only by people but by everything, everywhere. There were always eyes on her, wary eyes, fearful eyes, teasing eyes peeping jeeringly from behind empty warmless faces.  In a rush of scurried leaves and hurried whiskers a small brown rabbit rushed by, passing her by without so much as a glance. It bounded up the greyish path, worn into the grass under years of footsteps, leading out of the village.   She followed the mysterious creature up the path to the tree on the hill, and that’s when….

And here is ‘little poppy’, named so because her dress is perfect poppy colouring, she comes framed and measures 5″ x 4″ ( frame takes it to about 6″ x 5″), she has a very sturdy stand on the back, and a hanger so you could put her on a shelf or on the wall with ease!  The frame is real plaster moulding ( not cheap plastic yuck!) .. and glass, she will come packaged verrrrry carefully ( check out my etsy feedback for reassurances!) ..
