Stop shaking the snowglobe already!

It’s still snowing here in our wee blizzard ridden part of Glasgow.  Its getting deeper as we speak ( or at least as I type !) ..

Oh the photo?.. Thats my newest friend. Mr Fox. He came with demonic baby attached. Just look  at the little Foxlets eyes ! hehehe! Oh how he makes me smile. Mr fox and his sly smile.. he reminds me of an old Seventies childrens illustration, his colour is a little like that too, if there is such a shade as ‘Seventies Orange’ then this is it ! .. he’s sitting with his little foxlet, safely on my bookshelf, where I’m sure he will live for many years to come .. welcome to the family Mr Fox (and your little foxlet too!) 🙂

On work related stuffies, I’ve been busy (digitally) painting away when I can… the old back is not settling down yet ( it’s been six months since the Operation now!) and I’m waiting for more Docs appts to come thru now..  hopefully they’ll be able to make it a bit more comfortable day-to-day for me..

I’m STILL unable to complete any major acrylics on canvas work,  I know we have LOADS of you very patiently waiting my return to this, and thaaaank you for your understanding, this isnt just a ‘oh ive got an achy back today’ problem !  I’m disapointed at having to pass up on chances to have originals in gallery exhibitions etc, but we did find a lovely exhibition for my ink sketches.. more news on that soon!

We’ve been moving some of the sketchbooks up from the other house.. so far i’ve found ink originals of ‘ Little Red’ ( about 8″ x 10″ ),  Dropped (the same), Kitsune (the same again)  and er… oh yeh, Rainy Daze (I think she might be abit bigger maybe 8.5 x 11.. ) .. oh and the Christmas girls too (christmas eve, christmas rose etc) and they are much smaller.. would look lovely framed as a series..

All of which I was suprised no-one has asked about yet.. if you’d like any of these or one i havent mentioned just email us.. they just end up sitting in a book on a shelf otherwise 😉

    awe your little fox and baby are darling, and yes I know exactly what you mean by 70’s orange, I picture shag carpet hehehe, you all stay warm and I hope the snowglobe does stop for you all soon

    Awe Suzanne, I hope your back is feeling better soon, I know the cold can’t be helping you either…
    Those Foxes are so darn cute…. Reminds me of Basil Brush….lol Boom Boom
    Mum and Dad had a lot of snow down in Northamptonshire, so I know what you are all going through up in Scotland….
