I of course would want my husband and daughter with me at the time, I feel that knowing your family history is important. and that seeing another country would be just to amazing!!!

  2. my next vacation must be somewhere starbucks.. why? because we don’t have it in norway and it’s been 4 years since last starbucks..looooooove their frappuchino caramell

  3. My ideal holiday destination depends on the holiday. Christmas is my favorite holiday and as far as I am concerned, it should be celebrated in one place -home. I love the cold crisp air – the snow on the ground; the decorated tree; the presents, the egg nog; the roast prime rib and yorkshire pudding; the anticipation on my granddaughters’ faces; and the spirit of giving.

  4. amazing paintings!!! and now to my ideal destination would be Ireland and Germany .Ever since i found out my heritage ive wanted to visit and see all the landmarks and see just how lovely these places are

  5. Not meaning to ruin the flow, but I love all the new drawings; can hardly wait for the new tubes and I don’t understand how to copy and paste those little links you provided for us.
I tried to copy one but was told it belonged to you. I’d love to put one on my facebook.
So I guess the word is HELP!

    Hugs, Adeline

  6. My dream holiday would be the Maldives, sun, tranquility, relaxing, amazing.. if only they invented teleportation. I hate flying i get travel sick and bored bored bored!! lol i do it but i tend to stick to short flights lol

  7. Sorry Adeline, Holiday means Vacation over here, not Xmas! … where would you like to go on Vacation?

  9. First time I enter one of your giveaway πŸ˜€

My ideal holiday ? Somewhere where my family can be together (we’re four), where my kids could play and discover new things. I think somewhere in our new country, in Canada. Yukon, to see Aurora Borealis together and be stunned by so much beauty.
I like to discover new landscapes and I know that Canada has some awsome places to show; don’t need to go very far away from home to have great holidays.

  10. My ideal holidays are with my husband and my three daughters πŸ™‚ Where ? In Kenya !! I’d like to see animals and above all see my daughters looking at savage animals !!
(excuse me for my english… hum hum…)

  11. Oh ok. LOL!
Well, I am going to Nova Scotia at the end of the month but I would really love to return to France. Last time there, I went to Brittany, Normandy and the environs around Paris. I’d love to take my husband to the south of France as he has not seen it. Why? The food. The Food. The Food. And the wine! I am a food person. I also love the land – the hill towns are so wonderful.
    Thanks for clarifying that.
    Hugs, Adeline

  12. my ideal holiday is Greece, anywhere in Greece will do me, i love the food, the music, the weather and it keeps me from forgetting all my greek too lol

Btw Christy, on a clear day i can see Ireland ( the north anyway ) i’ll give it a wave for ya πŸ˜‰

  13. oops sorry i forgot to say I love the new paintings, and will build another wall in my living room to accommodate them lolol

  14. If i couldnt do the maldives then i think a football holiday, i loved the champions league final in greece but would have prefered it if scunthorpe utd were playing lol

  15. I guess the real reason I want to return to France is that we spent our honeymoon there in 1995. It was so romantic. And going to Giverny was fantastic. I’d like to recapture that time.

  16. Hmmmm…my ideal vacation would definitely be to Paris, France! Its my dream! I would love to visit all the neat shoppes for food and definitely clothes and SHOES! The architecture design is spellbinding! Its just a beautiful city that calls my name in my dreams! πŸ™‚ THANKS!!~~Amy

  17. My dream vacation would be to take my girls to Disney world. We have never really got to take a family vacation, and just seeing their sweet little faces light up to see the “real” princesses would make my whole life meaningful! Its hard when you are mommy and daddy! But I know that someday that dream of theirs and mine will come true!

  18. My next ideal vacation would be to go to Hawaii

  19. My ideal holiday destination would have to be somewhere in the Caribbean Islands, such as Belize or Bermuda. I would love it if I went around September-Octoberish because that’s a pretty good time for a holiday. Why? Well, who doesn’t love the hot sun and some beaches and clear blue water? Fresh air…with friends and family…in a relaxing place…that is ideal. πŸ˜€

  20. An alternative holiday would be to China and Taiwan as i would love to take my husband there. He has never seen either country and we could visit my daughter in law’s family. Her famiy is in Taiwan. I have met her brothers and sisters and father but not her mother and grandmother and I’d love to see their home. The food in Taiwan is wonderful and there are many wonderful things to see there. The food in China when I was there in 89 was awful but Hong Kong had great restaurants.

  21. I would love to go to a deserted island with my family and all of the comforts of course. Just want to get away from other people. Lol

  22. First of all, the new paintings are absolutely fabulous! I love them all.

Now, for my ideal holiday it would have to be either on Abaco Island or the Exuma cays in the Bahamas. The beaches are the most spectacular I have ever seen in my life. The sand is as white and soft as talcum powder and the water is crystal clear. Give me a good book, a cool drink and one of those hammocks between the palm trees and I’m all set!

  23. If money grew on trees and even if it didn’t, husband and I would love to see Scotland. His ancestors came to this country from there in the early 1600s and so did mine. And it is said that the Holy Grail is hidden there!! Imagine if I found it?

  24. Hi Suzanne, I’m just loving your new work as always. πŸ™‚ Every one of them are winners. πŸ™‚

My ideal holiday would be to visit all of my dearest online friends and to do something special with each of them. πŸ™‚ There are several that I’m really close to that I would love to meet and hang out with. Of course to be really ideal I’d have to have the funds to do so. lol

My 2nd ideal holiday would be to return to Orlando Florida and see Universal Studios and Sea World where my husband and I had our first vacation together. It was great fun and I’d love to have those feelings again. πŸ™‚

Keep up the great work. πŸ™‚

  25. My dream vacation right now? New York City! I’m pining away for it. I’ve gone twice before for about three days each time, but this time I would stay longer. I would finally get the chance to see the museums, to just explore and revel in all the art. I’d also wander around some galleries and do a bit of shopping. Then I would top it off by going to see a different play or musical every night, starting with Wicked and Avenue Q! So many adventures to be had there. πŸ™‚

  26. My ideal vacation would involve lots of fun, rollercoasters, amusement parks etc. I’d also like to see some places I’ve never been before, something near the ocean with huge waves so I could swim and get splashed by the waves. Unlimited money is a must, I don’t want to have to think at all when walking by a flower vendor or where to eat. Take a day cruise? Why not, money’s no option right?

  27. Oh Suzanne, I LOVe this little girl, just when we think they can’t get anymore Gorjuss than the last one, You suprise us each time with a Beauty…
My Dream holiday would have to be to Hawaii…. We have some beautiful friends that live there so it would be awesome to go to visit them in their Home.. I love hearing how they go to the beach everyday to swim….. That is just a perfect way of life…
    Hugs Mea

  28. I love the new paintings and am looking forward to the tube pack coming out.

My favourite holiday destination…..I was lucky enough to go to Peru in 2005 and to visit Macchupicchu. I’d wanted to go since I was about 8 or 9 years old and never thought I would ever get there.

  29. OMG l love all the new paintings and cant wait to see the new pk.

    Awesome work Suzanne

Okay a dream hoilday…mmmm l have two but there is one that would truely be amazing so here it is.

I would love to travel to Paris to see the tower and the Louvre. The louve is the best and most world known Art Museum and being a astract artist l would dearly live to go. After a mth there travelling around l would love to hop across the world to see New York. See times square and Borders l have been told the New York store is the largest in the world. See Solo and the Museums and Art area of New York.

Taking with me my camera’s and some drawing gear, making this trip a amazing one, on the way home go by Perth and see my couison Dene and her family, her daughter is my god daughter and l have been saying for yrs l want to go there.

Hows that?? Awesome trip and holiday away from here and my books lol.

    Hugs lee xx

  30. I LOVE the new paintings and congratulations on your news on Santoro.

My ideal destination is Disney Florida, it’s great to be like a kid again even tho I’m in my forties πŸ™‚

  31. My holiday would be at DisneyLand or whichever one it is that is in Florida with my 2 grown kids & my grandson who is 3.

  32. I know, I know you are probably thinking my ideal holiday would be in Transylvania?!? Hmmm now that I mention it, that might be an interesting destination!! But to be honest I have always wanted to see the Aurora Borealis so Alaska or Norway would be perfect. A cruise to Alaska would be great! Seeing the Glaciers and Icebergs. Whale watching. Wouldn’t that be wonderful!?!?! But, that Transylvania trip is sounding nice too, lol

  33. My second Ideal Holiday would be to go to Sweden to see where my husband’s family originated from…. It is such a Beautiful Country, well worth going back to find his roots…
    Hugs Mea

  34. Suzanne, or Mr Suzanne …. I left out the “y” in my email addy
lol “just in case” you might need it *hint hint*

    lovehollyxx@hotmail.com

    Thanks guys?

  35. Oh no did my comment not even work?

  36. My dream holiday would be ….. in a time machine, well begin there anyway & take my back to my miss spent youth!
Back to a time of singing on the beach under the light of a full moon , sharing laughing with friends, dancing the night away ….. having energy to dance the night away, being able to just pick up the front door key & fly out the door, on my own, just me to think about!

Oh who am I kidding I would L?VE to spend a magical holiday with my hottie & my two little cheeky munchkins and run a muck at Disneyland.

    xx

  37. My ideal holiday destination would be to country Victoria. The state devastated by the Black Saturday bushfires. To see new life and regrowth from the ashes, enjoy the peace and tranquility and smell the fresh air! To spend quality time with my family, something we do not do enough of. This would be ideal for me.

  38. I love the new painting!

My dream holiday would be a trip to Seattle. My DH lived out there for a while and his parents till live out that way. I would love to tour the city and see the space needle. Spend some time with his family and finally see the ocean. And last but SO not least see the Mariners play at Safeco field. That would be the ultimate!

  39. Lee, let me know if you come to New York. I will gladly come and meet you. I loved the Lourve and if you go to Paris, make sure you see D’Orsay! Fabulous Delacroix paintings. Oh how I love him. Have a Nicoise Salad at the Lourve! We went there every day for a week.
I would love to go to Cornwall in England. My stepgrandmother was from there and used to make us Cornish Pasties. How fond I am of those!! I make them myself and even put the bit of jam in the end.
My husband would be my fellow traveler of choice.

  40. My Ideal vacation would be to travel all over the US. I love looking at new things, seeing new towns and meeting new people. If i was able to do this though I would want to visit the sleepy places not the touristy places. You can always find the treasures in the roads less traveled:) I am sure the whole trip would take a year or more lol because I would want to stop at every flea market, antique store, farmers market and museum there was. The best part would be spending that time with my family because I wouldn’t go without them.

I love the new art:) You are so very talented and I appreciate the fact you share your creativity with us.

  41. Well I have only one place in the world that I would love to go, and that is to England. I live in Canada, but was born overseas. My Dad is from England but my Mum is from Canada.

My Dad was in the army and we moved around a lot, so I didn’t hang on to many friends – found it difficult actually. By the time I was 5, we left England and moved to Germany for 2 years.

There are so many cousins I haven’t met in England, as they weren’t even born by the time I left. And I have SO many memories!! Going to the market to buy a daffodil for my bedroom, going on picnics, going to the seaside, having my Canadian grandparents over and going places with them, and of course picking up fish and chips and fighting over who got to hold the bag! And ohhh that’s smell of the food wrapped up in newspaper, I still remember it!

That would be such a dream for me to take my 5 kids there to meet everyone in my family, see where I was born, where I grew up, visit museums and see the sights πŸ™‚

  42. I see there are some other folks that want to visit Ireland! That’s my dream Holiday! My great-grandparents came from there. I have the hammer and other tools that my great grandfather used in his cobbler shop. I’m still researching to find out exactly where they lived, so that we can check it out. It’s a gorgeous place! I especially love the music.

You’re also doing a great service by reminding us of future plans that tend to get put on the back burner!

Thanks also for the opportunity to own some of your wonderful prints.

    julie

  43. Love the new art, Suzanne! I was thinking I heard from a little Birdie that it is your birthday. Is that correct? If so, happy birthday, sweetie!

Hm…Well I don’t see a vacation any time soon in our future, but I would love to make a return trip to South Dakota, USA. It’s across the country from us, but it’s awesome! We had such a great time.

    Or maybe to Germany. LOL

  44. My ideal holiday would be somewhere exotic.
I would love to go to Egypt & just have an adventerous holiday, exploring everything. I love the culture, the ruins, the art & would just love to spend a couple of week drinking it all in. It’d been my ideal desitination since I saw my first egyptian program on the telly when I was about 8 years old:)

    Hugs

  45. If I could go on vacation anywhere right now, I think what I would most want to do is rent a little place off one of the smaller lakes in upstate New York. I would go hiking, spend time in the sun, and, most importantly, give myself time to relax and read and write. So many times, I’ve gone on vacations and ended up stressed or quibbling with the friends and family I’ve gone with; instead, this time I’d like to have some time for me.

  46. The paintings are all so beautiful I can’t wait to see the new pack!
My ideal vacation would be a tad different…I have 2 kids with autism and I would so love to take them to Disney World but of course I would need it to be on a day when the park isnt busy or if they had a special day for stuff like that. Vacations are hard to come by with kids like mine lol! If I were to take one myself I would love to go to Germany. My father was there when he was in the army and said it was awesome!
    Hugs, Stef

  47. Love love love the new paintings Suzanne. They are adorable ! My dream vacation would be to come meet you and Mr G and see you in action. (Drawing/painting) That would be so cool.

Looking forward to the new pack of tubes/images.
    Hugs,
    TammyJo

  48. The ultimate getaway would be to the island of Belize. The water is crystal and the sand is as white as pearls. The sun shines and warms the heart so. Awwwwwww toes in the sand and margaritas in my right hand

  49. and of course to bring along You and Grant

  50. My ideal holiday would be, going to a cabin in the mountains with both my kids along (daughter is a sophomore at Penn State college, age 19, son will be a senior next year in high school, age 18). So, I don’t get too much time alone with them. And if we went to mountains, there wouldn’t be an internet, or cell phones, cause I’m sure you can’t a signal up there. So friends wouldn’t be calling them all the time. And my son’s girlfriend couldn’t call up there, not that I don’t like her I do!!! But this way they’d have to spend time with just me and hubby. Would love to do that before they get too grown up and don’t have time or don’t want to do it. Okay that’s it sounds good when do I leave LOL.
